From April 3–6, 2025, Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation youth will proudly participate in the FSIN Youth Hockey Championship in Saskatoon. This exciting tournament brings together young athletes from First Nations across Saskatchewan, showcasing skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship on the ice. It’s more than a competition—it’s about building community pride, supporting youth development, and celebrating the spirit of hockey. FSIN Adult Hockey Championship (Regina)

From September 19–24, 2025, Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation will embark on its Traditional Hunting Trip—an honoured time to reconnect with the land, teachings, and ways of our ancestors. This journey is about more than harvesting; it’s about passing down knowledge, respecting nature, and strengthening our cultural identity. Elders, youth, and families come together in unity, learning through experience and ceremony. National Truth and Reconciliation Day

On September 30, 2025, Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation will observe National Truth and Reconciliation Day—a solemn and powerful day of remembrance, reflection, and healing. We honour the survivors of residential schools, their families, and the children who never came home.
